Councillor Chin Lee has moved an amendment to Councillor Walker's referral motion as follows:

"The Item be referred to the General Manager, Transportation Services, with a request that he hold further public consultation with the cycling community and communities bounded by Bloor Street to the south, Lawrence Avenue to the north, the Don Valley Parkway to the east, and Yonge Street to the west, and report back to the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee by October 6, 2009"

Councillor Michael Walker has moved referral of the Jarvis Street matter. A debate on the referral motion will now take place.

Motion:

"That this Item be referred back to the the September 14, 2009 meeting of the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee in order to allow interested Members of Council to canvass community residents regarding their support for this proposal by holding public meetings."
