Motion by Councillor Minnan-Wong on the Toronto Walking Strategy

Councillor Denzil Minnan-Wong has moved the following motion on the Toronto Walking Strategy.

That Recommendation 5d be amended by deleting the words "and implement 10 locations in 2009 and 2010; and the introduction of “No Right Turn on Red” restrictions at strategic intersections beginning with 10 locations in 2010" so the recommendation now reads:

d. develop pilot projects to install and evaluate different measures and design options to improve the pedestrian environment including: the relocation of bicycle parking racks from narrow sidewalks/boulevards to alternative locations;
