Motion by Councillor Pasternak on CC20.1

Councillor James Pasternak has made the following motion on item CC20.1, the report of the Expert Panel on Sheppard Avenue East transit options.




6 - Motion to Amend Item moved by Councillor James Pasternak (Final)

That City Council:

1. Direct the City Manager, in consultation with the Chief Executive Officer, Toronto Transit Commission, to advise City Council on the availability of subway environmental assessment studies for the North York Relief Line (Sheppard Subway West) which would run between Downsview Station and Yonge and Sheppard Station.

2. Direct the City Manager to advise on whether subway construction can be commenced based on the study.

3. If a new study must be commenced, direct the City Manager, in consultation with the Chief Executive Officer, Toronto Transit Commission, to report back to City Council on a proposal to move forward with an environmental assessment for a North York Relief Line (Sheppard Subway West) .
